About Us
The Heartland Authors Workshop
HAWK Publishing Group proudly sponsors the biennial Heartland Authors Workshops. Because HAWK is interested in the long-term well-being of every writer, we design our unique workshops to be roll-up-your-sleeves-and-sharpen-your-pencils experiences. Although we will touch on the basics, our main goal is to celebrate all forms of creative writing by illustrating principles that have proven successful in today’s highly competitive environment. Our speakers are always experts in their fields who are eager to share inside information and review the principles of strong writing.
By cultivating excellence, our workshops strive to inspire creative minds. Our techniques apply to all genres—literary, romance, mystery, nonfiction, poetry, memoirs, etc.—and motivate both professionals and new authors. Attendees leave energized, often with a new direction and the skills needed to polish their writing for the publishing industry’s tough standards.
