We are thrilled to announce the 2007 Heartland Authors Workshop will be held July 7, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our first FICTION BOOT CAMP will help you fulfill your commitment to writing by giving you the tools you need to succeed! Come prepared to exercise your mind, heart and soul like never before—and leave ready to meet the challenges of today's tough publishing industry. The learning will continue once you return home—every Boot Camp graduate will have the opportunity to submit an excerpt of his or her work for a free professional edit!

The Speakers at Fiction Boot Camp

William Bernhardt is the New York Times bestselling author of twenty-four novels, including most recently Capitol Threat.

Billie Letts is the New York Times bestselling author of Where the Heart Is, an Oprah Book Club selection and winner of the Walter Percy Literary Prize. Her most recent novel is Shoot the Moon.

Will Thomas has written five mystery novels set in Victorian England, including Some Danger Involved, which won the Oklahoma Book Award.
